Frequently asked questions
At our Floating Sound Bath sessions in Swindon you are required to wear a swimsuit because this is an IN water experience. When the session begins you enter the warm 34 degrees heated hydrotherapy pool where hammock floats are ready and waiting for you. They are all secured in place by weighted anchors to prevent collisions with anyone else during the session. Our in-pool assistant is on hand to help you into your hammock float if needed, and there you will rest weightless for a whole hour of pure deep relaxation surrounded by soothing live sounds. Instruments played include quartz crystal bowls, twinkling chimes, gentle bells and other calming instruments.
The unique sensation of floating weightlessly, combined with the immersive sounds unfolding around you is carefully designed to help you switch off, relax deeply, and emerge feeling calmer and refreshed.
Our body temperature can drop during deep relaxation so we provide Thermal neoprene swim jackets as an additional layer of warmth.
The jackets are Velcro adjustable to fit all sizes and you wear them over the top of your swimsuit.
They are optional, however we encourage everyone to wear one, especially if you know you are prone to feeling the cold.
