I’ve always felt most at peace near water, and combining that feeling with my passion for helping others through sound healing has inspired me to create these deeply relaxing Floating Sound bath sessions.
Water and sound have a unique natural harmony. Water carries sound so effectively that the vibrations can travel more deeply through the body, enhancing the therapeutic effects of the session. The gentle movement of the water also helps encourage a deeper sense of physical and mental relaxation.
Our Floating Sound Baths are in high demand and spaces fill fast. Customers often describe them as a unique, must-try experience, and many come back time after time!
We run two very different types of Floating sessions locally.
Floating Mattress Sound Baths- Northcroft Leisure Centre, Newbury
This session involves Floating out of the water on top of a floating double inflatable mattress. For this session you will be fully clothed, dry and snuggled in a blanket with your head resting on a pillow. Optional eye masks are provided.
Experience the wonderful sensation of lying back on a floating inflatable mattress, every part of you fully supported in total comfort, as you drift peacefully across the water. Let the soothing live sounds of our gentle calming instruments surround you, guiding your body into deep rest and your mind into stillness. This is your time to fully switch off, reset and let go.
Floating Sound Baths-Thamesdown Hydrotherapy Pool, Swindon
This session involves physically floating in the warm hydrotherapy pool water. You will wear a swimming costume and be provided with a supportive float device featuring an adjustable inflatable pillow, ensuring your head and body are comfortably cradled so you can fully let go and melt into the experience.
Experience this truly special and deeply immersive sound bath, held in a candlelit hydrotherapy pool, gently heated to a luxurious 34°C (like a giant warm bath) with soft, dreamy light projections dancing across the ceiling. You will float effortlessly on a supportive body float—customised for your comfort and anchored so you won't drift into anyone else. Simply let the soothing live sounds of our gentle healing instruments wash over you in an atmosphere of total serenity. For one blissful hour you can let go and be completely surrounded by peace and sound.
As an added bonus an hour spent in the warm, therapeutic temperature of the hydrotherapy pool offers additional benefits-such as full muscle relaxation, pain relief and improved circulation.
